Author Bio

Randy is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with a background in finance, computer science, and enterprise software consulting. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, he began his career at Arthur Andersen as an auditor before moving into systems consulting at Deloitte & Touche, where he also earned his CPA.

Following several years in public accounting, Randy launched his own software consulting firm in Atlanta, serving batch-manufacturing companies. In 2001, he co-founded Vicinity Manufacturing, where he continues to lead and innovate in the process manufacturing ERP space.

Originally from the Northeast and raised in Arkansas, Randy now lives in Metro-Atlanta with his wife, Jennifer, and their five sons. Outside of work, he’s an avid pilot and photographer who enjoys spending time with his family.
