Manufacturing Day 2020 Celebrated by Manufacturing ERP Consultants
Our team is excited to join manufacturing leaders and businesses to celebrate Manufacturing Day in October. The main goals of this day are to address current and future challenges. First, Manufacturing Day is a callout to U.S. manufacturers to streamline operations with technology. It's possible to adopt technology for the factory of the future today. Second, the main goal is community outreach to businesses, schools, students, their educators, legislators etc. to find skilled labor.
MI is a non-profit which is a part of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) that created Manufacturing Day in 2012.

2 main goals of Manufacturing Day 2020
Technology -One goal of Manufacturing Day is to share modern best practices and technology to help manufacturers modernize operations today and prepare for the future. As manufacturing consultants, we help manufacturers modernize their manufacturing systems and processes with ERP solutions. We support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply, Business Central and Acumatica manufacturing software.
Labor - The other main goal of Manufacturing Day is to address the demand for a future skilled labor force. According to the Manufacturing Institute (MI), there will be a shortage of around 4.6 million skilled labor jobs in the manufacturing sector by 2028. Consequently, it’s critical for manufacturers to attract and train skilled workers. Manufacturing Day is one effort to get the U.S. workforce excited about the manufacturing sector as an attractive career path.
