Acumatica Cloud ERP Accessed from Browser
As soon as I opened my first Acumatica PDF manual I made the jump from an on-premise software product to a Cloud-based product. I accessed my software through my browser. No separate programs to open, no desktop icons. My browser is always open and my software is always available. I just have to navigate to my Acumactica address and enter my credentials. My home page opens and I see a much cleaner layout than that of the Dynamics products that I had been using. Poking around inside the software, exploring the navigation bars and trying to understand how the Acumatica structure works, I quickly realized that following the practice examples inside my user manual was going to lead to my quickest success. I also am able to follow along with Acumactica training videos on Vimeo.
So far, I’m loving it. This is my first post about moving to Acumatica Cloud ERP, but it won’t be the last. In subsequent posts I’ll talk about my learning challenges, the software’s flexibility and my client experiences. Watch this space and come along on my journey of discovery. Perhaps the lessons I learn will benefit you in your move to the Cloud.
