Did you hear the news? Gartner published its comprehensive white paper: “Magic Quadrant for Cloud Core Financial Management Suites for Midsize, Large and Global Enterprises” and counted Acumatica Financial Management Suite as one of the ERP systems run by a “visionary” company. The white paper examined midsize, large and global businesses and found Acumatica to be an excellent choice for midsize companies looking for a reliable cloud ERP solution.
The white paper defined midsize companies as having an annual revenue of $50 million to $1 billion and classified core financial management suites in 5 categories: general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed assets (FA) and project accounting, costing and billing. Gartner then evaluated the financial management software providers based on their Ability to Execute (overall viability, marketing execution, operations, etc.) and Completeness of Vision (marketing understanding, sales strategy, business model, innovation, etc.)
Acumatica, Intacct, Microsoft and FinancialForce were the companies listed in the “Visionaries” category: those companies that excelled in Completeness of Vision.
According to the report, Acumatica is a visionary because of its focus on cloud ERP and the flexibility of its xRP cloud development platform, making it a good core financial management option for midsize organizations. When questioned about Acumatica’s capabilities, customers cited ease of use and speed as highlights. They also rated core ledgers GL, AP and AR as above average. In summary, Gartner called Acumatica Financial Management Suite “well-aligned to Gartner’s vision of postmodern ERP.”
