How to Change Report Layouts in Dynamics 365 for Financials

One of our customers recently asked for our help with changing their report layouts.   Unfortunately, we couldn't find any videos that cover this topic - just some very brief online instructions.  So, our own Dan Berube created this video for them, and anyone else out there who's interested.

This video will walk you through how to change your report layouts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials, step-by-step.   It will take you through an invoice example, showing you what to do when you want to change what your invoice form looks like.

Here's a brief preview, in the form of a partial transcript from the beginning of the video:

"When you first log in to Dynamics 365, the transaction types have default layouts assigned.  But the system does shift with multiple layouts for various transaction types.  So, the first thing we are going to do is take a look at what other formats we have available in the system for our invoice.   So, we’ll look and first search for a custom report layouts.  Switch over to the Administrative area and I can see I have an option for customer report layouts....
