TL;DR
Six months after The TM Group joined Technology Management Concepts, TMG clients continue to work with familiar contacts and trusted advisors. What has changed is the depth of expertise now available behind them including Power Platform, Copilot, Azure and Microsoft 365 capabilities through the broader TMC Global family of companies. Same relationships. Expanded capabilities. One Partner. Every Solution. No Gaps.
Table of Contents
Earlier this year, we announced that the TMG TMC merger was official — The TM Group had joined Technology Management Concepts (TMC). We talked about expanded capabilities, a stronger bench and a shared vision for the future.
That was the promise.
Six months later, the question is simple: what has actually changed?
Here is what the TMG TMC merger looks like in practice.
The Team Is Intact and Stronger
The first question every client had was simple: Is my team still here?
The answer is yes.
The core TMG team is still here. Judy Thomas, who led TMG for years, continues in a leadership role within the combined organization, helping preserve the values and customer focus that defined the company. The relationships you built with our team are the same relationships you have today backed by a larger organization with more resources behind them.
What has changed is what that team can now reach.
Where a TMG client may have previously needed to look outside our organization for specialized expertise, those capabilities now exist within the same family of companies. We have not replaced what made TMG successful. We have added to it.
How PowerApps911 Expands the Story
The growth of the TMC Global family did not stop with TMG.
In May, TMC welcomed PowerApps911, founded by Shane and Nicola Young. PowerApps911 has become one of the most recognized names in the Power Platform community, known for practical consulting, training and education around Power Apps, Power Automate, governance, adoption and low-code development.
Shane Young's role as Chief AI Officer adds another important layer to the combined organization, especially as clients begin asking bigger questions about Copilot, AI readiness, automation and how to use Microsoft technology in more practical, secure and scalable ways.
Together, TMC, TMG and PowerApps911 create a broader Microsoft partner organization with expertise across business applications, automation, AI, infrastructure and training.
What Has Expanded
The biggest change over the last six months is not the people our clients work with. It is the breadth of expertise now available behind them through the combined TMG, TMC and PowerApps911 organizations.
TMG built its reputation on helping organizations successfully implement, support and optimize Microsoft business applications. That foundation remains unchanged. What has changed is the range of services and specialists clients can now access through the broader TMC family of companies.
Today, TMG clients have direct access to:
- Power Platform consulting, development and governance expertise through PowerApps911
- Copilot readiness, adoption and AI strategy services
- Azure cloud architecture and modernization services
- Microsoft 365 consulting and productivity solutions
- Expanded Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities
- Microsoft licensing and cloud subscription management
- A deeper bench of consultants, developers and solution architects across the Microsoft ecosystem
The benefit is simple. Clients can continue working with the team they know while gaining access to capabilities that previously may have required additional vendors, referrals or partner relationships.
This is what "One Partner. Every Solution. No Gaps." looks like in practice.
What We Are Building Toward
TMC's vision has always been to build the Microsoft partner that organizations will not outgrow. The TMG TMC merger was a deliberate step toward that vision not a transaction but a strategic alignment of two firms that had been serving Microsoft customers for decades.
The combined organization now covers the full Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 ERP and CRM, Power Platform, Copilot, Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure and licensing services along with the specialized consulting and training expertise of PowerApps911.
For clients, that means a partner relationship that can evolve as their business evolves. A company may begin with ERP modernization, expand into workflow automation, adopt AI capabilities and eventually leverage broader cloud services all without needing to change partners along the way.
We serve manufacturing, distribution, nonprofit, community mental health, family office and professional services organizations across the Midwest and throughout the United States.
The next phase of the build is already underway. We are continuing to expand complementary capabilities while maintaining the close-contact, relationship-focused approach that both TMG and TMC clients have always valued.
Bigger bench. Same accountability.
What This Means If You Are Evaluating a Microsoft Partner
If you are currently running on Dynamics GP and considering a migration to Business Central, evaluating Business Central for the first time, exploring Copilot or looking for a partner that can support your Microsoft environment end to end, this is a good time to have that conversation.
The organization you are talking to today is not the TMG of five years ago or the TMC of five years ago.
It is a stronger organization built on the combined experience, expertise and vision of both.
We have not replaced what made TMG successful. We have expanded what is possible for the clients who trust us today and for the organizations we will support tomorrow.
