GP 2024 18.6 What's new

Reiterating our 6 Tips for Digital Transformation while Staying on Dynamics GP, maintaining an up-to-date Dynamics GP ERP is essential to exploit its potential for operational efficiency. Dynamics GP 18.6 has many enhanced cross-departmental core features while enhancing security around your data.

Here is a list of notable features our GP consultants wish to highlight for you after reviewing this latest update:

  • Financial Summary Inquiry Redisplay: Redisplay a financial summary inquiry instead of closing the window to refresh the data.
  • Reverse Fiscal Year-end close by Company: Perform fiscal year-end reversals with greater ease. Now available for one company at a time, rather than requiring after-hours efforts that lock out all companies.
  • Print/Email Cash Receipts: Mass Customer Email setting to print or email customer payment receipts.
  • Completely Delete Document Attachments: Take greater control of attachments in Dynamics GP by having the option to permanently delete them.
  • Shared Mailbox with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Set up new Sales and Purchasing shared mailboxes using MFA for greater security and email management.
  • Customer Statements Display Open Items: Customer statements display or remove Fully applied transactions. This will remove any payments, credits, or invoices that have been fully applied.
  • Email/Reprint Vendor Remittance with Message Fields: The customized message field when creating a vendor remittance, will now be included when emailing or reprinting.
  • Modern Authentication: Providing more options for security allowing for single-tenant key access.

We believe in the transformative potential of Dynamics GP.  Beyond the newly expanded features and capabilities with Dynamics GP 18.6, we highly recommend that you also consider investing in some additional advisory services from our team to help set a plan for continued improvement and adoption of advanced automation functions within Dynamics GP.
