Along those lines, there have been a number of great enhancements to Dynamics GP in the past few years, with the most recent Microsoft Dynamics GP v18.3 being released in October 2020.
Typically, we recommend that clients wait till the New Year before planning their upgrade to the latest in Dynamics GP, to allow any 3rd party applications / ISV application providers time to update and test their applications with the recent releases from Microsoft including the December year-end updates.
