Microsoft recently laid out their new product development cycle, which is designed to provide product releases every 6 months to bring more incremental value to customers on a regular basis. In accordance with this new cycle, Microsoft will be releasing 2 updated versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP this year: Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013R2 and Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015! Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013R2 will be released sometime in the next 6 months. It will bring more improvements to workflow and identity management, as well as introduce the first companion apps for Dynamics GP. The next major release, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, will be released sometime in the second half of 2014. According to Pam Misialek, Product Manager for Dynamics GP, this release will include “more functionality, more workflow, more apps and a service-based architecture that will be the foundation for the further development of Dynamics GP over the next five years”.
