Offline Mode for SalesPad Mobile and Workflow and Receiving Capabilities in InventoryControl™ Highlight Offerings on Display at Convergence
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – MARCH 18, 2013 – SalesPad LLC, a leading developer of business efficiency software that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics GP, will introduce new mobile features and a new inventory management solution at Convergence 2013, held March 18-21 in New Orleans.
The new mobile features include enhanced order entry capabilities and an offline mode for SalesPad Mobile™, the mobile version of SalesPad’s flagship SalesPad® application. SalesPad Mobile gives Dynamics GP users the ability to manage customers, inventory, and sales documents from their iPhone, iPad, or Android mobile device. “SalesPad Mobile delivers the convenience and power of immediate access to real-time customer, inventory, and order information to mobile workers,” says Tim Hollstein, National Sales Manager for SalesPad LLC. “Increased efficiency and improved customer service are two immediate benefits our customers are realizing.”
With the Offline Mode in SalesPad Mobile, users can continue working even if SalesPad Mobile loses its connection to the server. Once the device has regained its connection to the server, the user can switch back into online mode and re-sync with the server, passing back any orders that were created while in offline mode. Using the enhanced Order Entry feature in SalesPad Mobile, users can quickly add items during order entry from a list of items recently purchased by the particular customer. Users can also add Customer Default items as defined in SalesPad during order entry, which allows the quick creation of customer specific template orders. Other new features in SalesPad Mobile include iPad optimized layouts and a new Warehouses tab on the Item Card.
The new SalesPad inventory management application – InventoryControl™ – allows users to regulate and track the movement and storage of inventory within their warehouse. Users can limit what can and cannot be purchased from each warehouse bin. “SalesPad InventoryControl improves our visibility to product that is on its way from our suppliers. This allows us to make better purchase decisions and communicate confidently with our customers about product availability,” says Arash Khazei, Chief Financial Officer for NYX Cosmetics, Inc., a user of InventoryControl. “In addition, we can tightly control inventory allocations during order entry, assuring that the right product is available for the right customer at the exact time that they need it.”
Designed for use alongside DataCollection™, SalesPad’s barcode receiving and fulfillment product, InventoryControl delivers advanced inventory management through key features such as: Warehouse Configuration, which enables users to assign attributes to bins and bin items and configure them for better inventory control; Workflow Setup, which can be used to create logic/rules to automatically stage, flag, or move documents through the system based on business needs; Receiving, through which users can initiate receiving items ordered on a P.O.; and Bin Lookup, which allows users to search inventory located in specific bins. Other features include Receipt Confirmation, Label Printing, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Receipt Processing and Monitoring.
