Microsoft is offering a new pricing structure for the upcoming release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 called Perpetual Licensing. This new model will make it easier for smaller and mid-size companies to test the waters of the new Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013. Companies can choose between a Starter Pack or Extended Pack Functionality. The Starter Pack includes everything that a business needs to get started, and then some. Robust financial management in the Starter Pack includes general ledger, cash flow management, multicurrency, bank reconciliation, payables and receivables management, customer and vendor consolidations, grant management, electronic banking, and many more critical accounting features. Also included is human resources management with payroll and related functionality, as well as business intelligence and reporting. The Supply Chain Management feature in the Starter Pack includes invoicing, extended pricing, order and inventory management, PO generator, time and expense management, and other features. The Starter Pack includes the critical features that businesses need when putting a new ERP solution in place at a reasonable price.
The Extended Pack includes extra features that some business may also want to use right away, including Project Management, Customer Relationship management, and Manufacturing Solutions which includes bill of materials, order processing, master production scheduling, and material requirements planning functionality. The Microsoft Forecaster Unlimited is also included in the Extended Pack.
